Análisis sobre las repercusiones del Covid-19 en las mujeres municipio de Cúcuta, aportes desde el enfoque del desarrollo humano para mejorar el bienestar y la calidad de vida de esta población

Resumen
La pandemia de COVID-19 ha tenido un gran impacto en mujeres, niñas y
adolescentes a nivel mundial, obstaculizando la igualdad de género y el progreso ha
los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030. Para comprender mejor estas
repercusiones, es esencial adoptar un enfoque de Desarrollo Humano que consider
aspectos más allá de lo económico, como derechos, libertades y calidad de vida.
El estudio se centra en analizar cómo el COVID-19 afectó a este grupo y en propone
medidas para mejorar su bienestar. Se encontró un aumento significativo del
desempleo y la informalidad laboral, especialmente en áreas financieras y de seguro
siendo más grave en regiones con alta informalidad como Cúcuta.
Las mujeres enfrentan una sobrecarga en el trabajo no remunerado en el hogar,
limitando su desarrollo personal y participación comunitaria. También se registró un
aumento en la violencia de género, posiblemente debido a cambios en dinámicas
familiares durante y después del confinamiento.
Las restricciones de movilidad y la priorización de la atención médica para el COVID-19
afectaron el acceso de las mujeres a servicios de salud sexual y reproductiva,
impactando negativamente su salud mental y la de sus familias.
Se concluye que las medidas de recuperación pospandemia deben promover la
participación de las mujeres en la toma de decisiones sobre su futuro. Se destaca la
importancia de la educación de calidad y políticas que fomenten la autonomía
económica y reduzcan la carga del trabajo no remunerado. Se aboga por la creación de
sistemas integrales de cuidados para redistribuir equitativamente las responsabilidades
de cuidado.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on women, girls and adolescents globally, hindering gender equality and progress towards the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. To better understand these impacts, it is essential to adopt a Development approach. Human that considers aspects beyond the economic, such as rights, freedoms and quality of life. The study focuses on analyzing how COVID-19 affected this group and proposing measures to improve their well-being. A significant increase in unemployment and labor informality was found, especially in financial and insurance areas, being more serious in regions with high informality such as Cúcuta. Women face an overload of unpaid work at home, limiting their personal development and community participation. There was also an increase in gender violence, possibly due to changes in family dynamics during and after confinement. Mobility restrictions and prioritization of medical care for COVID-19 affected women's access to sexual and reproductive health services, negatively impacting their mental health and that of their families. It is concluded that post-pandemic recovery measures must promote the participation of women in decision-making about their future. The importance of quality education and policies that promote economic autonomy and reduce the burden of unpaid work are highlighted. The creation of comprehensive care systems is advocated to equitably redistribute care responsibilities.
