Resumen
La investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la percepción de conductores colombianos sobre el riesgo del uso del teléfono móvil al manejar y evaluar su conocimiento y cumplimiento de la normativa vigente. Empleando un paradigma
hipotético-deductivo y un enfoque cuantitativo con encuestas validadas, se recopilaron datos de 200 estudiantes de la Universidad Simón Bolívar, Sede Cúcuta, Facultad de Derecho, en el primer semestre de 2023. El diseño de la investigación es cuasi experimental de tipo transversal. Los resultados destacaron una alta frecuencia de uso del teléfono móvil durante la conducción, a pesar del conocimiento de los riesgos. En conclusión, resalta la necesidad de campañas de concientización y el cumplimiento estricto de las normativas de tránsito para promover la seguridad vial y reducir los accidentes
