Resumen
Este proyecto presenta un detallado estudio sobre la logística de última milla en la empresa Procar Inversiones S.A.S en Barranquilla. A través de una combinación de métodos cuantitativos y cualitativos, se analizaron los procesos de entrega y operaciones logísticas de la empresa, incluyendo la revisión de datos internos, encuestas a empleados y clientes, entrevista a directivos de la empresa y la evaluación del contexto de última milla en la ciudad. La investigación se estructuró con el objetivo de diseñar una solución tecnológica e innovadora que transforme la logística de última milla de la empresa.
Los resultados indican que la empresa maneja un inadecuado proceso de enrutamiento para las llegadas a tiempo de los productos y que no utiliza un software específico para la gestión del transporte, confiando en métodos tradicionales como la planificación manual de rutas y el seguimiento telefónico de envíos. Por tanto, enfrenta desafíos significativos en la última milla, como la puntualidad en las entregas en áreas con alta densidad de tráfico, la variabilidad en la demanda y la gestión de devoluciones.
Finalmente se concluye que la implementación de un Sistema Inteligente de Última Milla en Procar Inversiones S.A.S., utilizando tecnologías avanzadas como inteligencia artificial y optimización de algoritmos, mejorará significativamente la eficiencia de las entregas y la satisfacción del cliente. Las mejoras en el procesamiento, preparación, enrutamiento y envío de pedidos, así como en la entrega final, optimizarán cada etapa del proceso logístico. Herramientas como EasyCargo, cloudFleet, LastMile y la plataforma Circuit permitirán crear rutas más adecuadas, reducir tiempos de entrega, minimizar errores y ofrecer seguimiento en tiempo real. Estos cambios fortalecerán la posición de Procar Inversiones S.A.S. en el mercado de repuestos y accesorios para vehículos, asegurando su compromiso con la calidad y excelencia en el servicio al cliente.
This project presents a detailed study of last mile logistics at Procar Inversiones S.A.S. in Barranquilla. Through a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, the company's delivery processes and logistics operations were analyzed, including the review of internal data, employee and customer surveys, interviews with company executives, and the evaluation of the last mile context in the city. The research was structured with the objective of designing a technological and innovative solution to transform the company's last-mile logistics. The results indicate that the company manages an inadequate routing process for on-time product arrivals and does not use specific software for transportation management, relying on traditional methods such as manual route planning and telephone tracking of shipments. Therefore, it faces significant challenges in the last mile, such as on-time deliveries in areas with high traffic density, demand variability and returns management. Finally, it is concluded that the implementation of an Intelligent Last Mile System at Procar Inversiones S.A.S., using advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and algorithm optimization, will significantly improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction. Improvements in order processing, preparation, routing and shipping, as well as final delivery, will optimize every stage of the logistics process. Tools such as EasyCargo, cloudFleet, LastMile and the Circuit platform will enable better routing, reduce delivery times, minimize errors and provide real-time tracking. These changes will strengthen Procar Inversiones S.A.S.'s position in the vehicle parts and accessories market, ensuring its commitment to quality and excellence in customer service
