Resumen
Esta investigación, al identificar obstáculos que afectan el proceso lector, tuvo por finalidad
fortalecer el nivel inferencial de lectura mediante el desarrollo de la conciencia emocional en
estudiantes de décimo grado de la Institución Educativa Técnica Francisco de Paula Santander.
Por ello metodológicamente, se abordó un paradigma sociocrítico, aludiendo a un diseño de acción
educativa, para analizar el estudio desde un enfoque mixto, utilizando como técnicas de
investigativas los TEST y el Grupo Focal. Los resultados encontrados en los diversos instrumentos
aplicados permitieron demostrar que los estudiantes aún deben mejorar sus competencias
emocionales en aras de reconocer sentimientos y reacciones de los demás, así mismo presentan
serias dificultades al momento de leer o precisar ideas implícitas en diferentes tipos de texto.
Finalmente, se concluyó que la propuesta realizada es pertinente pues se tiene en cuenta una
realidad pedagógica basada desde la integración entre saberes y valores aplicados para la
conciencia emocional.
This research, by identifying obstacles that affect the reading process, aimed to strengthen the inferential level of reading by developing emotional awareness in tenth-grade students at the Francisco de Paula Santander Technical Educational Institution. Therefore, methodologically, a sociocritical paradigm was adopted, alluding to an educational action design, to analyze the study from a mixed-method approach, using TESTs and Focus Groups as research techniques. The results found in the various instruments applied demonstrated that students still need to improve their emotional competencies in order to recognize the feelings and reactions of others. They also present serious difficulties when reading or clarifying implicit ideas in different types of texts. Finally, it was concluded that the proposal is pertinent because it takes into account a pedagogical reality based on the integration of knowledge and values applied to emotional awareness.
