The concept of citizenship has been restructured throughout history, as man has evolved in his thinking and in the way he conceives the world. Since ancient times and for a long time, citizenship has been linked to belonging to a nation-state, which limits its implication in current human dynamics; however, the multiple economic, political, environmental and social problems, such as the great mobilizations of people and the globalization processes that humanity is experiencing today, make it necessary to contemplate a new perspective of citizenship. A citizenship that is planetary, that surpasses the local, that allows the recognition and acceptance of differences, in an entirely multicultural world, that makes possible the coexistence and dialogue of diversity, for which citizen training processes are required from a global and intercultural perspective, which allow opening the doors to inclusion, the enriching interaction of individual and group singularities and the strengthening of the social fabric. With this research, which is assumed from the qualitative approach and the Socio-Critical paradigm, it was possible, through the implementation of techniques and instruments of the Educational Action Research, to collect concise and relevant information for the collective construction of a training proposal, located and contextualized in the territory, which contributes to the structuring of planetary citizenship, from the development of a social, environmental, human and global conscience. All this in a constant process of sensitization and self-reflection of the educational community.
