Resumen
El presente trabajo consiste en comprender las afectaciones emocionales y sociales
de las mujeres en situación de prostitución del parque Mercedes Abrego, municipio de
Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, con el fin de resaltar el impacto negativo que la prostitución ha
generado en la vida de estas mujeres, comprendiendo las complejidades de sus vivencias y
buscando arrojar luz sobre las consecuencias emocionales y sociales de esta actividad.
La investigación se realiza desde el paradigma decolonial con enfoque cualitativo,
lo que permitió identificar y describir las afectaciones emocionales y sociales vividas por
las mujeres en situación de prostitución. El sujeto de estudio consistió en un total de diez
mujeres, con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y 30 años, provenientes tanto de Colombia
como de Venezuela, dichas característica permitió tener una heterogeneidad de las
experiencias vividas en ellas desde la interseccionalidad.
La recolección de información se llevó a cabo a través de técnicas interactivas,
como el círculo de la palabra y la silueta, metodologías que permitieron que las mujeres
compartieran sus vivencias de manera más libre y expresiva, contribuyendo así a una
recolección de información desde el cuidado.
En conjunto, la investigación destaca que las afectaciones corporales de las mujeres
en situación de prostitución trascienden las dimensiones individuales, siendo el resultado de
estructuras sociales y económicas arraigadas en sistemas coloniales de poder. Se resalta
efectos corporales desde una perspectiva decolonial, invitando abordar estos impactos los
cuales implica desafiar el estigma, empoderar a las mujeres y transformar las estructuras que
perpetúan su vulnerabilidad
The present work consists of understanding the emotional and social effects of women in prostitution in Mercedes Abrego Park, municipality of Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, in order to highlight the negative impact that prostitution has generated in the lives of these women. . , understanding the complexities of their experiences and seeking to shed light on the emotional and social consequences of this activity. The research is carried out from the decolonial paradigm with a qualitative approach, which made it possible to identify and describe the emotional and social effects experienced by women in prostitution situations. The study subject consisted of a total of ten women, aged between 18 and 30 years, from both Colombia and Venezuela. These characteristics allowed for heterogeneity in their experiences from intersectionality. The collection of information was carried out through interactive techniques, such as the word circle and the silhouette, methodologies that allowed the women to share their experiences in a more free and expressive way, thus contributing to the collection of information from care. . . Overall, the research highlights that the bodily effects of women in prostitution transcend individual dimensions, being the result of social and economic structures rooted in colonial systems of power. Body effects are highlighted from a decolonial perspective, inviting us to address these impacts which involve challenging stigma, empowering women and transforming the structures that perpetuate their vulnerability.
