Resumen
Introducción: El embarazo adolescente es un problema biológico, psicológico y social que afecta a las familias y a la sociedad. También los riesgos y consecuencias negativas para la salud física del embarazo son bien conocidos, pero no operan de forma aislada, sino que están vinculados a factores psicosociales, económicos, políticos, estructurales y de género. Esta situación no puede considerarse un problema biológico, porque también es un problema social con muchas aristas y áreas de influencia negativas.
Objetivo: Indagar las causas y consecuencias del embarazo en adolescentes en la actualidad.
Métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica de los términos “embarazo adolescente” asociados a “problemas sociales”, “Causas”, AND “Consecuencias
Resultados: Se encontró que la baja escolaridad, pertenecer a una familia disfuncional, vivir en zonas rurales o marginales y los problemas de percepción de riesgo son factores condicionantes para el embarazo adolescente.
Conclusión: La importancia de la familia en la atención integral en salud de los adolescentes radica en la identificación oportuna de riesgos como la desarmonía familiar, la desestructuración familiar, antecedentes familiares de embarazo prematuro y baja o insuficiente educación sexual en el adolescente, que si se sustenta. desarrollo óptimo que incide en el futuro de estos adolescentes y sus futuras generaciones.

Also, the risks and negative physical health consequences of pregnancy are well known, but they do not operate in isolation, but are linked to psychosocial, economic, political, structural and gender factors. This situation cannot be considered a biological problem, because it is also a social problem with many negative edges and areas of influence. Objective: To investigate the causes and consequences of teenage pregnancy today. Methods: A bibliographic search was carried out for the terms "teenage pregnancy" associated with "social problems", "Causes", and "Consequences". Results: It was found that low schooling, belonging to a dysfunctional family, living in rural or marginal areas and risk perception problems are conditioning factors for teenage pregnancy. Conclusion: The importance of the family in the comprehensive health care of adolescents lies in the timely identification of risks such as family disharmony, family disintegration, family history of early pregnancy and low or insufficient sex education in adolescents, which, if sustained, will have an impact on the future of these adolescents and their future generations.
