The general objective of this project is to analyze the attitudes of university women at the Simón Bolívar University, Cúcuta campus, towards harassment on public roads, seeking to understand the perceptions and subjective evaluations they have about this social problem. The methodology adopted is qualitative, with a descriptive design, and focuses on a population of 45 students of Psychology, Social Work and Physiotherapy, aged between 19 and 28 years, selected through snowball sampling. For the collection of information, semi-structured interviews and focus groups were used, which allowed the participants to express their experiences and perceptions in a deep and flexible way. Interviews and focus groups facilitated an open dialogue. The data collected were analyzed with NVivo software, which allowed a systematic coding and thematic analysis of the information, facilitating the identification of patterns and trends. The most important results reveal that women experience a range of negative emotions in response to harassment, such as anxiety, fear, and resentment. Contextual factors influencing the perception of bullying were identified, such as urban environment and culture. These findings underscore the need to implement intervention strategies and awareness programs that address bullying, promoting a safer and more equitable environment. The study not only contributes to the understanding of attitudes towards bullying, but also seeks to generate a positive impact on university culture and the emotional well-being of female students.
