libre.
This research project includes the social representations that families who were victims of domestic violence had, around family dynamics during the time of the COVID19 pandemic; For the above, Serge Moscovici's theory of social representations was implemented, which made it possible to make visible and analyze the appreciations and perceptions that accompanied the families during the mandatory preventive isolation implemented by the National Government based on Decree 457 of 2020, which limited the free circulation of people and vehicles in the territory, generating the constant permanence of families in the home. In the development of the investigation, 22 families belonging to the corporation "God gives us a second chance" participated, located in the Camilo Daza neighborhood, in commune 7 of the city of San José de Cúcuta, North of Santander; to whom a semistructured interview was applied that allowed the selection of 5 families with whom a focus group was implemented. It is worth mentioning that the study was carried out under a qualitative approach, an interpretive paradigm and a phenomenological design that made it possible to explore, describe and understand more easily the current situation of the context of the participating families, finding that during this time there were various changes and modifications in aspects related to family dynamics in which roles, affective relationships, norms, rules, authority, limits, communication and use of free time were included.
