Resumen
El concepto de convivencia constituye un elemento esencial en las sociedades modernas, su
estudio fue realizado desde la formación ciudadana teniendo en cuenta el contexto donde
transcurre la vida de los habitantes. Para el caso particular de la investigación se estudió en el
territorio de frontera de la Región Nororiental de Colombia en el Departamento Norte de
Santander, una región que ha sido afectada por la movilidad de venezolanos hacia territorio
colombiano producto de la crisis que ha venido afectando a este país. La investigación se realizó
mediante el paradigma interpretativo, enfoque cualitativo y como método de investigación el
método fenomenológico. A través de la sistematización y análisis de la información se logró
realizar importantes hallazgos sobre este contexto de frontera y de la forma en que se desarrolla la
vida a través de las percepciones de sus ciudadanos. Las ciudades de frontera son espacios que
presentan características diferentes a otros escenarios ubicados en el interior del país con una
riqueza intercultural particular, mostrando que cada espacio de actuación del ser humano tiene sus
propias características; igualmente las fronteras se configuran y reconfiguran a través de la historia.
The concept of coexistence is an essential element in modern societies, its study was conducted from the citizenship formation taking into account the context where the life of the inhabitants takes place. For the particular case of the investigation, it was studied in the border territory of the Northeast Region of Colombia in the Norte de Santander Department, a region that has been affected by the mobility of Venezuelans to Colombian territory as a result of the crisis that has been affecting this country. The research was carried out through the interpretive paradigm, qualitative approach and as a research method the phenomenological method. Through the systematization and analysis of information, important findings were made about this border context and the way in which life is developed through the perceptions of its citizens. Frontier cities are spaces that present different characteristics to other scenarios located in the interior of the country with a particular intercultural richness, showing that each space of action of the human being has its own characteristics; likewise, borders are configured and reconfigured through history.
