Desarrollo psicomotor: un enfoque para fortalecer el pensamiento espacial matemático en estudiantes de grado quinto

Resumen
La presente investigación se propuso como objetivo valorar el impacto de una propuesta didáctica basada en el desarrollo psicomotor en el fortalecimiento del pensamiento matemático espacial en los estudiantes de quinto grado de la institución educativa Colegio Municipal María Concepción Loperena de la Ciudad de San José de Cúcuta. En este sentido se propuso una metodología con enfoque cuantitativo con alcance descriptivo y diseño preexperimental. La muestra fueron 37 estudiantes de grado quinto que fueron evaluados con un pretest, para luego ser intervenidos con una propuesta didáctica basada en la motricidad. Luego de la intervención se volvió a evaluar el grupo. Los resultados muestran en la prueba inicial el nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento espacial fue bajo. Entre tanto, después de la intervención se dieron mejoras estadísticamente significativas
en la media, por tanto, se concluye que existe una relación en la motricidad y el desarrollo del pensamiento espacial
The objective of this research was to assess the impact of a didactic proposal based on psychomotor development in the strengthening of spatial mathematical thinking in fifth grade students of the educational institution Colegio Municipal María Concepción Loperena in the city of San José de Cúcuta. In this sense, a methodology with a quantitative approach with descriptive scope and prexperimental design was proposed. The sample consisted of 37 fifth grade students who were evaluated with a pretest, to then be intervened with a strategy based on motor skills. After the intervention, the group was re-evaluated. The results show that in the initial test the level of development of spatial thinking was low. Meanwhile, after the intervention there were statistically significant improvements in the mean, so it is concluded that there is a relationship between motor skills and the development of spatial thinking
