Resumen
Esta investigación analiza las limitaciones que enfrentan las mujeres privadas de la libertad en el ejercicio de la maternidad en la unidad de servicio de primera infancia del complejo penitenciario y carcelario metropolitano de Cúcuta, Norte de Santander. Por ende, esta investigación se llevó a cabo las madres que se encuentran recluidas en el complejo penitenciario y carcelario metropolitano de Cúcuta. Para abordar teóricamente la investigación se establecen 3 categorías: la maternidad, perspectiva de género y la pena privativa de la libertad. La metodología de la investigación está orientada bajo el enfoque cualitativo, con un paradigma interpretativo y con el diseño de estudio de caso. Se pudo determinar que hay restricciones en el momento de ejercer la maternidad en las madres que se encuentran recluidas ya que ellas no manejan en un 100% las decisiones que se toman con su hijo y es por ende, que el ejercicio de la maternidad es compartido, la mayoría de casos es compartida con la institución colombiana de bienestar familiar y otros casos con las instituciones de red primaria como lo son los abuelos, tíos (a) y parientes y consecuentemente devienen impotencias, frustraciones, temores, angustias y malos estilos de crianza por parte de las madres reclusas ya que consideran queda relevadas de su cargo estipulado por naturaleza.
This research analyzes the limitations faced by women deprived of liberty in the exercise of motherhood in the early childhood service unit of the metropolitan penitentiary and prison complex of Cucuta, Norte de Santander. Therefore, this research was carried out on mothers who are imprisoned in the metropolitan penitentiary and prison complex of Cucuta. To theoretically address the research, 3 categories are established: motherhood, gender perspective and the custodial sentence. The research methodology is oriented under a qualitative approach, with an interpretive paradigm and a case study design. It was determined that there are restrictions at the time of exercising motherhood in mothers who are confined since they do not manage 100% of the decisions made with their child and therefore, the exercise of motherhood is shared. , the majority of cases are shared with the Colombian family welfare institution and other cases with primary network institutions such as grandparents, uncles and relatives and consequently they become powerless, frustrations, fears, anxieties and bad parenting styles. by incarcerated mothers since they consider that they are relieved of their stipulated position by nature
