Materiales y métodos: estudio descriptivo y retrospectivo.
Renal biopsy registries are tools that allow to identify the epidemiology, histopathology and clinical behavior of glomerulonephritis (GN) in the geographical areas of the world. In our setting, there is a shortage of prospective studies that allow us to reflect the histopathological profile of GN. Objective: To identify the causes of glomerular disease diagnosed by kidney biopsy in the Department of La Guajira using data from the NEFRORED platform from 2008-2018. Materials and methods: descriptive and retrospective study. A total of 1,084 kidney biopsies were recorded between 2008 and 2018, compatible with GN. Pregnant women, children, transplant patients and with incomplete information in the clinical record and / or in NEFRORED were excluded.
