As human beings we are in constant change and adaptation, the modern world is in daily development and innovation making way for new social and market dynamics that make us unconsciously forced to adapt to variations, as seen in the labor market that today demands more skills and abilities that make an ordinary person the perfect candidate to contribute to organizational growth, regardless of the type of activity, our capabilities make us stand out from others and is what really stands out when it comes to getting a job. For young people in the city of Cúcuta, this is a constant in order to find employment; along with competitiveness, there is a shortage of job opportunities that widen the panorama towards unemployment and the conditions of informality that overflow in growing numbers years after year and that, despite that different proposals and national alternatives, neither of these two aspects has been significantly reduced, for this reason, this research takes strength by analyzing two public policies of youth employment of national scope for the public and private sector from the perspective of the young people who are directly involved and from the opinion the social context in which they are immersed for the purposes of this research as students of higher education institutions in the city, and as future professionals.
