Background: COVID-19 has been classified by the WHO as a public health emergency of international importance (PHEIC), making it possible to activate protocols to stop its transmission. The most relevant symptoms are fever, cough, general malaise and nasal secretions, but in turn, even 20% of confirmed cases must be hospitalized, because the respiratory manifestations of this disease can come from a pneumonia to severe hypoxia, compromising quality of life. Regarding this, a study carried out on the perception of HRQoL in the midst of this pandemic; published in the Cuban journal of military medicine in 2021, where they compared the quality of life between an environment without a pandemic vs. in a context under health alert due to COVID-19 in young adults, it turned out that the most altered dimensions were emotional role and general health, which decreased by 39.5% and 21.0%, respectively, in the context of quarantine . Objective: To determine the perception of health-related quality of life in post-COVID-19 subjects in the Colombian Caribbean region in the period March-May 2021. Materials and methods: The focus and type of study of this health project in post-Covid-19 subjects in the Colombian Caribbean region in the March period is descriptive of a cross-sectional cohort, in 61 participants over 18 years of age, with a history of COVID-19. 19, natives of the Colombian Caribbean.
