Resumen
La obesidad en la actualidad constituye un problema de Salud Pública y pandemia
mundial, entiendo que se ha propagado de manera paulatina, en adultos y niños considerablemente, en distintos países. La obesidad es uno de los trastornos nutricionales que representa más riesgos, puesto es el precursor de varias enfermedades, lo que indica que esta es una enfermedad crónica, que en muchas ocasiones podría conducir a la muerte. La situación que atraviesa a la niñez en América Latina, es un problema que debe ser de gran importancia, por lo cual requiere la implementación adecuada de una salud pública, lo cual permitiría una atención integral, por lo tanto, los objetivos trazados en este proyecto se centran en la revisión de estadísticas en diversos artículos, que permitan establecer un porcentaje de casos de ansiedad, sobrepeso u obesidad en pacientes de pediatría, establecer los diferentes patrones y factores que conllevan a esta situación. Materiales y métodos: Por medio de revisión sistemática de artículos publicados, sobre obesidad y trastornos de alimentación en niños y noticias de carácter científico sobre el mismo tema. Resultado: Realmente existen muchos factores que tienen influencia en la presencia de esta problemática (obesidad), podrían establecer como principales, el consumo de alimentos ricos en grasas saturadas, azúcar y sal, la falta de actividad física y el incremento del sedentarismo, entre otras. Conclusión: Es necesaria una implementación de política pública, con los objetivos adecuados sobre programas nutricionales, estableciendo actividades de promoción de la salud infantil.
Obesity is currently a public health problem and a global pandemic; I understand that it has spread gradually, in adults and children considerably, in different countries. Obesity is one of the nutritional disorders that represent the most risks, since it is the precursor of several diseases, which indicates that this is a chronic disease, which in many cases could lead to death. The situation facing children in Latin America is a problem that must be of great importance, for which the proper implementation of public health is required, which will allow comprehensive care, therefore, The objectives outlined in this project are focused on the review of statistics in various articles, which allow establishing a percentage of cases of anxiety, overweight or obesity in pediatric patients, establishing the different patterns and factors that lead to this situation. Materials and methods: By means of a systematic review of published articles on obesity and eating disorders in children, and news of a scientific nature on the same subject. Outcome: There are really many factors that influence the presence of this problem (obesity), they could establish as the main ones, the consumption of foods rich in saturated fat, sugar and salt, the lack of physical activity and the increase of sedentary lifestyle, among others. Conclusion: An implementation of public policy is necessary, with the appropriate objectives on nutritional programs, establishing activities to promote child health.
