Resumen
En esta investigación se aborda un fenómeno comunicacional, lingüístico y educativo como lo es la comprensión y producción de textos escritos académicos en la Universidad. Para los estudiantes de la modalidad a distancia son muchas las demandas lingüísticas y cognitivas asociadas con la lectura y escritura crítica que no han logrado generalizar en experiencias de aprendizajes previas. Sin embargo,
constituye un reto mayor para el docente especialista del nivel universitario de esta modalidad, conjugar tanto la atención de esas debilidades académicas de sus estudiantes, como la de su formación pedagógica. El análisis define la caracterización
de la producción textual escrita de estos estudiantes a partir de los apoyos didácticos utilizados por los docentes, permitiendo vislumbrar los factores que promueven desarrollar competencias comunicativas en ellos.
This research addresses a phenomenon of communication, language and education as to understand and produce academic texts in college. For students of distance learning there are many linguistic and cognitive demands associated with reading and critica! writing that have failed to generalize previous learning experiences. However, it is a majar challenge for the specialist college teachers of this modality to combine both the attention of these academic weaknesses of their students as their pedagogic training. The analysis defines the characterization of the written textual production of these students, allowing a glimpse into the factors that encourage them to develop communicative skills.
