The way in which students adapt to new learning styles and cannot share personally with teachers or classmates has caused many of them to feel indifferent or lack motivation when it comes to learning and performing their assigned tasks. Therefore, students are advised to organize themselves, properly managing their time, with the collaboration and accompaniment of their parents, teachers and, if necessary, mental health professionals. It is necessary to carry out a study on how demotivation and mental health are affected in the young people of the Simón Bolívar University with respect to their education and professional training, in order to propose concrete solutions and ensure that each of these can fulfill their duties. . This type of research is important because motivation and good mental health influence learning and vice versa; students must be motivated to read or do some responsibility, but most importantly, they must maintain their mental health for their own benefit and thus be able to show greater interest in continuing with their formative stage and be able to achieve all their proposed goals. And it is more than clear that demotivation has given rise to anxiety, stress or depression, affecting aspects such as attendance at virtual classes, which can affect poor academic performance.
