| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio tuvo como objetivo develar los factores de riesgos psicológicos y sociales del maltrato hacia el adulto mayor en la ciudad de Barranquilla, Colombia. La metodología que oriento el estudio fue la cuantitativa con un diseño descriptivo. Como técnica se aplicó la entrevista semiestructurada a 15 adultos mayores con sus respectivos cuidadores. Los hallazgos mostraron que el maltrato hacia el adulto mayor es nocivo y destructivo; el análisis de lo estudiado permitió identificar la dimensión que tiene el maltrato hacia el adulto mayor en el contexto donde se desenvuelve ya que hay incidencias inquietantes en los aspectos psicosociales. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this study was to reveal the psychological and social risk factors for elder abuse in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. The methodology that guided the study was quantitative with a descriptive design. As a technique, the semi-structured interview was applied to 15 older adults with their respective caregivers. The analysis of what was studied allowed to identify the dimension of abuse towards the elderly in the context where it takes place since there are disturbing incidents in the psychosocial aspects. | eng |
