efectos negativos de la pandemia se enfatizan la preocupación por el contagio;
covid-19.
Since the appearance of the coronavirus pandemic, a global health emergency has been constituted, bringing with it important psychosocial and economic consequences. Faced with this situation and the measures taken to mitigate the spread of the virus, significant changes took place that impacted the child population. According to the bibliographic review, it was found that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the emotional dimension of children, mentioning some negative consequences on children's emotions and behavior. Among the negative effects of the pandemic, concern about contagion is emphasized; direct effects of the disease; alterations in sleep and appetite and the impact of confinement. (Monjarás & Romeo, 2020; Johnson, 2020; Da Silveira & Siepmann, 2020) In general, in the studies reviewed, children show more positive than negative emotions in the face of confinement, however, in the face of the disease, the reported emotions are related to sadness, fear and frustration. (Monjarás & Romeo, 2020) The investigations carried out have given rise to the development of recommendations and suggestions on strategies that can be implemented to help the child in functional coping with the situation. This research aims to describe the emotions experienced by children during the pandemic and analyze their perceptions regarding confinement by COVID-19.
