Resumen
El siguiente trabajo es un producto académico que se presenta como requisito de
grado para optar al título de Especialista en Intervención Social. Este trabajo es el resultado
de un proceso de investigación y reflexión realizado con disciplina y entusiasmo, y se
enfoca en analizar la relación entre la sensibilización en torno a las nuevas masculinidades
y la prevención del feminicidio en el departamento del Atlántico.
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar cómo la sensibilización en torno a
las nuevas masculinidades contribuye a largo plazo la disminución y erradicación de las
violencias feminicidas en el departamento del Atlántico. Para el cumplimiento de este
propósito, se recurre a un enfoque interdisciplinario que incorpore la teoría de género con
perspectivas sociológicas y antropológicas, ya que permite dar cuenta de cómo la
dominación simbólica reproduce desigualdades de género (Bourdieu, 1998). Además, se
busca realizar una lectura de los feminicidios desde los factores de interseccionalidad y
opresiones múltiples, como la raza, clase social y el género (Viviero, 2016) (hooks, 1984,
2001), e identificar los mensajes sociopolíticos detrás de las violencias feminicidas (2017).
The following work is an academic product that is presented as a degree requirement to obtain the title of Specialist in Social Intervention. This work is the result of a process of research and reflection carried out with discipline and enthusiasm, and focuses on analyzing the relationship between awareness about new masculinities and the prevention of feminicide in the department of Atlántico. The objective of this work was to analyze how awareness about new masculinities contributes in the long term to the decrease and eradication of feminicidal violence in the department of Atlántico. To fulfill this purpose, an interdisciplinary approach is used that incorporates gender theory with sociological and anthropological perspectives, since it allows us to account for how symbolic domination reproduces gender inequalities (Bourdieu, 1998). In addition, the study seeks to interpret feminicides from the perspective of factors of intersectionality and multiple oppressions, such as race, social class and gender (Viviero, 2016) (hooks, 1984, 2001), and to identify the sociopolitical messages behind feminicidal violence (2017).
