Resumen
La presente investigación busca identificar las cosmovisiones de las mujeres de la etnia Makaguan resguardo el vigía, entorno a la salud sexual y reproductiva. Para el desarrollo de esta se tomaron tres categorías cosmovisiones, salud sexual y reproductiva y mujer. Se llevó a cabo en el municipio de Arauquita – Arauca, en el resguardo indígena el vigía, etnia Makaguan, con cinco mujeres pertenecientes a la etnia. La metodología bajo la cual se enmarca es un enfoque cualitativo, con un paradigma interpretativo y diseño de historias de vida, a través de herramientas de recolección como lo son la entrevista en profundidad, entrevista grupal, cartografía corporal, diarios de campos. Se obtuvieron como resultado que, en relación a la salud sexual y reproductiva, las mujeres refieren un desconocimiento sobre los métodos anticonceptivos, se evidencia que sus cosmovisiones van ligadas a su salud sexual y reproductiva, no tiene libertad para elegir el número de hijos que desean tener y no tiene autonomía sobre su cuerpo. Las mujeres son vistas como símbolo de la vida, juegan un papel muy importante en las costumbres acerca de las plantas medicinales,
ya que estos saberes los han ido transmitiendo a sus nuevas generaciones. Por último, se encontró que las mujeres al momento de acceder a los puestos de salud, vive discriminación y no se siente seguras, ya que por el hecho de ser indígena y estar tan lejada del casco urbano se les dificulta aún más el acceso a estos servicios
This research seeks to identify the worldviews of the women of the Makaguan ethnic group, resguardo el vigía, regarding sexual and reproductive health. For the development of this research, three categories were considered: cosmovisions, sexual and reproductive health and women. It was carried out in the municipality of Arauquita -Arauca, in the indigenous resguardo el vigía, Makaguan ethnic group, with five women belonging to the ethnic group. The methodology under which it is framed is a qualitative approach, with an interpretative paradigm and design of life histories, through collection tools such as in-depth interviews, group interviews, body mapping, field diaries. The results showed that, in relation to sexual and reproductive health, women refer to a lack of knowledge about contraceptive methods, it is evident that their worldviews are linked to their sexual and reproductive health, they do not have the freedom to choose the number of children they wish to have and they do not have autonomy over their bodies. Women are seen as a symbol of life, they play a very important role in the customs about medicinal plants, since they have been transmitting this knowledge to their new generations. Finally, it was found that women experience discrimination and do not feel safe when accessing health centers, since the fact of being indigenous and being so far away from the urban center makes it even more difficult for them to access these services.
