dc.description.abstractLa Organización Mundial de la Salud, define el alcohol, como una sustancia psicoactiva con propiedades causantes de dependencia, la cual se ha utilizado ampliamente en muchas culturas durante siglos. “El consumo nocivo de alcohol conlleva una pesada carga social y económica para las sociedades. El alcohol afecta a las personas y las sociedades de diferentes maneras, y sus efectos están determinados por el volumen de alcohol consumido”. Objetivo: Describir la prevalencia del consumo de alcohol, su relación con los factores de riesgo y el nivel de responsabilidad en escolarizados mayores de 10 años en una Institución Educativa, Municipio de Campo De La Cruz, Atlántico. Métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal, que se realizó en Escolarizados mayores de 10 años en una Institución Educativa del Municipio de Campo De La Cruz, con el fin de evaluar variables sociodemográficas, consumo de alcohol y responsabilidad mediante la aplicación de los test de AUDIT y CAGE. Los datos obtenidos se tabularon y analizaron por medio de programas estadísticos. Resultados: El 56% de los participantes del estudio, hacen parte de la población femenina. El rango de edad que más consumió de 15-19 años; La clasificación correspondiente a presentación de riesgo alto que requiere derivación al especialista, evidenció que los hombres (1.5%) presentan mayor riesgo frente a las mujeres con una relación (2:1), En cuanto al consumo perjudicial las mujeres presentan una relación 3:1 frente a los hombres Conclusiones: Queda constatada la necesidad de fortalecer los controles a la oferta orientada al consumo de bebidas alcohólicas, ya que la información recolectada permite observar que el 100% de estos jóvenes han declarado haber consumido alcohol alguna vez en su vida, aunque su venta esté prohibida a menores de edad.spa
dc.description.abstractThe World Healt Organization defmes alcohol as a psychofive with dependent properties which have been used in many cultures over the years. “harmful consumption of alcohol implies a strong social and economic burden for societies. Alcohol affects people and societies in different ways. Moreover, it’s efeccts are determined according to the percentage of consumed alcohol. Objective: To describe the prevalence of alcohol consumption it’s connectren with risk factors and the responsability level of people with more tan ten years in the Colegio Nacional Bachillerato del Municipio de Campo De La Cruz, in the department of the Atlantic. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out in schools over 10 years of age in an educational institution in the municipality of Campo De La Cruz in order to evaluate socio-demographic variables, alcohol consumption and liability by applying the AUDIT and CAGE tests. The data obtained were tabulated and analysed through statistical programmes. Results: 56% of the study participants are part of the female population. The age range that consumed most of 15-19 years; The classification corresponding to high risk presentation that requires referral to the specialist, showed that men (1.5%) present higher risk compared to women with a relationship (2:1), Regarding harmful consumption women present Conclusions: There is a need to tighten controls on the supply of alcoholic beverages, since the information collected shows that 100% of these young people have claimed to have consumed alcohol at some time in their lives, even if their sale is prohibited to minors.eng
