Meningiomas, are a fairly frequent type of neoplasm, represent 36.4% worldwide and are more common in adults (13-37%) according to the WHO. A bibliographic search was carried out in electronic databases on studies carried out between 2015 - 2020 with the aim of determining the behavior of Meningioma in populations from Latin America, Africa and Europe. Consult the following databases in the library of the Simon Bolivar University: PUB MED, CLINICAL KEY and SCIENCE DIRECT, these articles that have not more than 5 years of publication are included, which can be in English, Spanish or English. It was found that there is a similarity among the aforementioned population, since in them the meningioma is usually more than benign and in a few cases they represent malignant neoplasms, being diagnosed 85% incidentally with a predominance of headache as the main symptom, and twice as common in women with an average age between 41-65 years and the most frequent histological grade is grade I, which constitutes 70-90%. It is important to detect the time of the clinical manifestations of these patients, since this guides us to a diagnosis and thus be able to carry out timely treatment, which changes the trajectories of the disease.
