dc.description.abstractEn el presente artículo, bajo los conceptos aplicados a la inteligencia artificial, se desarrolló una herramienta con el fin de apoyar a la comunidad estudiantil en la solicitud y renovación de créditos de ICETEX en la Universidad Simón Bolívar. Para ellos se llevo a cabo la revisión bibliográfica de diferentes artículos relacionados con la temática, con la finalidad de comprender como se desarrollan, funcionan con el objetivo de crear una herramienta que combine algunas de estas características. Así se realizó la recolección de datos a través de encuestas y entrevistas para identificar cuales son los campos en los que se suelen cometer la mayoría de los errores a la hora de diligenciar los formatos de solicitud y renovación de créditos estudiantiles. Por último, se desarrolló la ejecución de la herramienta mediante el lenguaje de programación Python y el uso de librerías como lo son Tessaract OCR, OpenCv-Python y de preprocesamiento de imágenes cuya función será principalmente de escanear los formatos diligenciados por el solicitante, con el propósito de validar, diferenciar y estudiar los datos obtenidos a partir de los documentos escaneados y como respuesta se enviará un correo electrónico para notificar el estado en que se encuentra el proceso.spa
dc.description.abstractIn this article, under the concepts applied to artificial intelligence, a tool was developed in order to support the student community in the application and renewal of ICETEX credits at the Simón Bolívar University. For them, a bibliographic review of different articles related to the subject was carried out, with the purpose of understanding how they develop, work with the objective of creating a tool that combines some of these characteristics. Data collection was carried out through surveys and interviews to identify the fields in which most of the mistakes are made when filling out the application and renewal forms for student loans. Finally, the execution of the tool was developed using Python programming language and libraries such as Tessaract OCR, OpenCv-Python and image preprocessing whose function will be mainly to scan the forms filled out by the applicant, in order to validate, differentiate and study the data obtained from the scanned documents and as a response an email will be sent to notify the status of the process.eng
