The study addresses the impact of green logistics on the land transport of perishable goods in Colombia (2019-2023). The context of globalization and the challenges of the agricultural sector is presented, highlighting the urgency of implementing sustainable logistics chains that minimize waste and significantly reduce CO₂ emissions. In the background, the growing environmental concern and the need for sustainable practices in transport are highlighted, especially in countries such as Colombia with limited infrastructure. The methodology used includes a qualitative and descriptive approach, based on a review of secondary sources. The results reveal advances such as the implementation of hybrid and electric vehicles, route optimization through ICT, and improvements in the cold chain. However, barriers such as high costs and infrastructure limitations persist. In conclusion, it is noted that, although green logistics represents an opportunity to mitigate environmental impact and strengthen business sustainability, its full adoption requires investment, public policies and greater collaboration. This puts Colombia on a path to carbon neutrality, although it still faces significant challenges.
