Resumen
La investigación científica se ha vuelto indispensable en todas las áreas, y a su vez las revistas científicas cada vez son más, su utilidad dentro de la investigación es de gran consideración, y el poder medir y describir el impacto que obtiene una revista facilita notar la consecuencia o resultados de esta dentro de los investigadores. la revista Psicogente viene haciendo publicaciones de artículos científicos desde 1998, las cuales contribuyen al enriquecimiento de los conocimientos de sus espectadores, debido a que la revista misma busca en sus autores originalidad en sus resultados de procesos de investigación científica. El factor de impacto es una herramienta cuantitativa la cual es utilizada para comparar revistas, evaluarlas y también categorizarlas mediante la medida que se toma de la frecuencia de citación de los artículos en un año o un periodo determinado. Para una revista científica y su comité editorial es de gran importancia la calidad del proceso editorial; este contribuye a mejorar directa e indirectamente múltiples aspectos que pueden verse reflejados en la visibilidad, la accesibilidad, la puntualidad, la pertinencia y los indicadores de la revista, y consecuentemente en la indización tanto nacional como internacional que esta puede adquirir.
El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar el impacto de la revista Psicogente en las publicaciones y producción científica en psicología.
Scientific research has become indispensable in all areas, and in turn scientific journals are becoming more and more, their usefulness in research is of great consideration, and being able to measure and describe the impact of a journal makes it easier to note the consequence or results of this within researchers. The journal Psicogente has been publishing scientific articles since 1998, which contribute to the enrichment of the knowledge of its viewers, because the journal itself seeks in its authors originality in their results of scientific research processes. The impact factor is a quantitative tool which is used to compare journals, evaluate them and categorize them by measuring the citation frequency of articles in a given year or period. For a scientific journal and its editorial board, the quality of the editorial process is of great importance; it contributes to directly and indirectly improve multiple aspects that can be reflected in the visibility, accessibility, timeliness, relevance and indicators of the journal, and consequently in the national and international indexing that it can acquire. The aim of this work is to determine the impact of the journal Psicogente on publications and scientific production in psychology.
