The present study develops a set of comprehensive strategies aimed at optimizing the adoption of technologies in the food industrial sector, specifically in Bavaria S.A., a company located in Colombia. The focus of the work is to analyze how technological tools can improve internal organizational processes, increasing their operational efficiency and competitiveness in an increasingly digitalized environment. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques. On one hand, surveys were conducted with industrial sector experts to identify the most commonly used digital tools in project management. Tools such as Trello and Asana stood out for their ability to efficiently manage resources, assign tasks, monitor deadlines, and control costs. On the other hand, interviews were conducted with professionals in the food industry, providing deeper insights into the challenges and opportunities related to technological integration. Additionally, participatory workshops were organized where attendees proposed innovative strategies to optimize industrial processes. These activities not only generated ideas to improve product quality but also fostered the optimization of resource management and response times across different areas of the company. This was particularly relevant for Bavaria S.A., as it enabled a multidimensional analysis of the challenges associated with digital transformation. Documentary analysis was also crucial to ensure a comprehensive approach. The findings indicated that, while there are highly effective digital tools for collaborative management, many companies face significant barriers to their adoption. These barriers include a lack of financial capital to invest in new technologies, organizational resistance to change due to insufficient ongoing staff training, and technical difficulties in integrating ERP systems with existing technological infrastructures. Another important finding was the lack of clear strategies to measure the impact of digital transformation. For instance, 24.2% of companies reported that they only update their systems when strictly necessary, highlighting a lack of strategic planning in technological implementation. This limits organizations' ability to fully leverage the benefits of digitalization. To address these challenges, the study proposes specific strategies designed for Bavaria S.A., focusing on automation and digitization of key processes. These strategies include improving interdepartmental communication, enhancing coordination between areas, and strengthening technological integration, aiming to boost the company's competitiveness. Furthermore, the goal is to establish a replicable model that can be adopted by other companies in the food sector across Colombia and Latin America. The study concludes that digital transformation is not only essential for the sustainability and competitiveness of the food industrial sector but also requires a comprehensive approach. This approach should combine emerging technologies with effective organizational change management and continuous staff training. Only then can the foundations be laid for an efficient, scalable, and sustainable model of industrial modernization. This model will enable companies to face the challenges of a globalized and highly digitalized market, ensuring their competitive positioning in the long term. With these strategies, Bavaria S.A. and other companies in the food sector can not only overcome existing barriers but also seize the opportunities offered by the digital era.
