The present research work is directly related to innovation and management, which are the main focus of the academic program for which this undergraduate project is being carried out. Therefore, 3 there has been an interest in the 5.0 industrial revolution, which generates a lot of expectation and uncertainty in society, allowing the confrontation and analysis of the different theories presented, based on the knowledge acquired throughout the postgraduate course. Colombia is one of the Latin American countries that is only now implementing or experiencing minimal effects of the fifth industrial revolution. In many companies, whether medium, large, or small, there is a lack of technology, innovation, and continuous improvement in all processes. Therefore, it is important to know the situation of countries that are facing the industry 5.0 first and the impacts they have experienced, as explained by student Isabel Morillo Trujillo (July 21, 2022) from the University of Valladolid in Spain in her thesis "Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0: Analysis of the strategies of China, Japan, and the European Union". It is evident that each country handles and experiences different factors, both positive and negative, in organizations and the importance of relations between world powers contributes to this project a broader vision of the possible factors that Colombia will face and also take some strategies implemented by them to flexibilize the changes. The purpose of this research work is to make known the reality in the footwear companies of Norte de Santander, especially in the city of Cúcuta. These companies are known as manufacturing companies belonging to guilds such as Corpoincal and Acicam. Likewise, a survey was conducted that is divided into four dimensions, which deal with the appropriation of new technologies in the footwear companies of the same city. This data collection tool does not provide figures such as: level of appropriation, level of investment, level of importance, among others. In the same way, we will know the important changes that the implementation of new technologies brings, as well as the strategies that companies must use to facilitate the adoption of the changes in this industry 5.0.
