The Colombian Ministry of Health in resolution 3280 of 2018, establishes the risk factors and behaviors to reduce thromboembolic events during gestation-partum and puerperium. Objectives : To determine the level of compliance of Colombian physicians in the prevention of venous thromboembolic events during gestation, childbirth and puerperium according to resolution 3280 of 2018 Ministry of Public Health. Methodology: a descriptive study with analytical cross-sectional design was conducted, where a survey was applied to general practitioners, residents and specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in Colombia, on adherence to the guide provided by resolution 3280 of 2018 for the prevention of venous thromboembolic events during gestation, childbirth and puerperium, through the presentation of clinical cases.eng
