Suicide is a public health problem that mainly affects young people between 15 and 24 years of age. Factors such as depression and the absence of good treatment increase the risk of suicide, therefore this research analyzes the relationship between suicidal risk and good treatment according to sociodemographic variables, by means of psychometric tests ERS Suicide Risk Scale and the Good Treatment Scale in adolescents aged 12 to 18 years old from a school in the city of Cúcuta. It also uses a quantitative approach of non experimental design with correlational scope and cross-sectional cut. The ERS, the Buen Trato Scale and a sociodemographic data questionnaire were applied to 659 students of a school in commune 1 of Cúcuta, N.S. The results reveal a significant relationship between good treatment and suicidal risk by sex in adolescents. It was found that family support and a positive environment significantly reduce the risk, while women have a higher suicidal risk, men have a higher good treatment, within the findings there is a 43% suicidal risk in the investigated population. Finally, this research highlights good treatment as a key protective factor against suicidal risk in adolescents, highlighting its relevance for future studies, in addition, it identifies a decrease in self-generated good treatment with age. It proposes the development of programs that promote physical and psychological well treatment and stresses the importance of expanding research at the national level to create more effective preventive strategies
