Resumen
Esta investigación exploró las trayectorias de vida de jóvenes universitarios de la región del Catatumbo, en Cúcuta, Colombia, quienes fueron sido víctimas del conflicto armado. Se aborda desde un paradigma interpretativo con enfoque cualitativo y diseño autoetnográfico. El objetivo fue comprender las experiencias personales, las transiciones significativas y los puntos de inflexión en las vidas, de los participantes con edades entre 18 y 25 años, originarios de la Región del Catatumbo en Norte de Santander. La participación de 7 jóvenes fue voluntaria, se realizó un muestro de bola de nieve. Las técnicas de recolección de la información utilizadas fueron, la entrevista semiestructurada, el grupo focal y la autobiografía. En el análisis de datos se utilizó el software Nvivo, que permitió la triangulación de las fuentes de información. Los resultados revelan puntos de inflexión comunes como afectación de múltiples hechos victimizantes, experiencias de amigos privados de la libertad, muerte de familiares y la vinculación a la economía ilegal. Transiciones significativas como el acceso a la educación superior, la participación en proyectos comunitarios, la superación de barreras personales y familiares, han sido aspectos en las trayectorias de vida que han transformado y redefinido sus biografías de los jóvenes evidenciando resiliencia, adaptación a las nuevas realidades y encontrando en la educación y el compromiso comunitario. Aportando a la comprensión profunda de las dinámicas que marcan las vidas de los jóvenes universitarios y ofrece implicaciones prácticas para su apoyo y reparación, destacando la capacidad de reconstruir sus vidas y contribuir al desarrollo social.
This research explored the life trajectories of young university students from the Catatumbo region, in Cúcuta, Colombia, who were victims of the armed conflict. It is approached from an interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and autoethnographic design. The objective was to understand the personal experiences, significant transitions and turning points in the lives of participants between 18 and 25 years of age, originally from the Catatumbo Region in Norte de Santander. The participation of 7 young people was voluntary; a snowball sampling was carried out. The data collection techniques used were the semi-structured interview, the focus group and the autobiography. Nvivo software was used in the data analysis, which allowed the triangulation of information sources. The results reveal common turning points such as multiple victimization, experiences of friends deprived of liberty, death of family members and involvement in the illegal economy. Significant transitions such as access to higher education, participation in community projects, overcoming personal and family barriers, have been aspects in the life trajectories that have transformed and redefined the biographies of young people, showing resilience, adaptation to new realities and finding in education and community commitment. Contributing to the deep understanding of the dynamics that mark the lives of young university students and offers practical implications for their support and repair, highlighting the ability to rebuild their lives and contribute to social development
