A tracing was carried out in local and international spheres of the advances and contributions of researchers and research groups. It is highlighted that, during the armed conflict, most women are affected in different areas, especially in their privacy and daily life (Nieto, 2015), and despite the situation of victimization they must overcome individual, family, economic and social damages, in addition to assuming a leadership role in the household in order to achieve the survival and physical safety of their family members and dependents (UN Women, 2018). In this context, research on female leadership in the context of violence stands out. A study developed in Colombia by Mahecha (2020) found that women's leadership is emerging in the work done day by day and was able to recognize that women acquire competencies that emerge in contrast to the violence experienced, which strengthen them and make them fight and empower themselves as subjects of rights and change in their community. Calderón (2015) reported that women as leaders favored resources that allowed them to face the situation and rebuild their personal and social projects. In turn, another research identified that women leaders fulfill mediating functions between the state and their communities, and that women's leadership is associated with accompanying the suffering of the victims, but, above all, with the opening of paths where women participate politically in the search for the demand of their rights (Barreto, 2017).
