Clima organizacional y satisfacción laboral en contextos productivos del Caribe colombiano: una mirada desde distintos sectores económicos

Resumen
Objetivo: Describir las percepciones de los trabajadores de distintos sectores
económicos del Caribe colombiano respecto al clima organizacional y la satisfacción
laboral en sus entornos laborales.
Materiales y Métodos: Este estudio adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño
descriptivo transversal, orientado a describir las percepciones de los trabajadores
de diversos sectores económicos del Caribe colombiano en relación con el clima
organizacional y la satisfacción laboral. Para garantizar la representatividad de los
resultados, se aplicó un muestreo estratificado, dividiendo la población total de 125
trabajadores según el tiempo de permanencia en la empresa y el nivel jerárquico.
De esta población se definió una muestra de 95 participantes. La investigación se
desarrolló en empresas del sector servicios ubicadas en Barranquilla, Atlántico,
durante el periodo comprendido entre julio de 2024 y febrero de 2025. Para la
recolección de datos se emplearon dos instrumentos clave: el Cuestionario de
Satisfacción Laboral S20/23 de Meliá y Peiró (1998), que evalúa factores como
supervisión, ambiente físico, prestaciones y satisfacción intrínseca, proporcionando
una visión integral del bienestar laboral; y la Evaluación del Clima Organizacional
basada en la norma ISO 9001:2015, la cual destaca la importancia del entorno
laboral y el impacto de las percepciones y actitudes de los empleados en la calidad
y desempeño organizacional. Este enfoque metodológico facilita la identificación de
áreas de mejora y la orientación de estrategias para fortalecer tanto el bienestar
como la eficiencia dentro de las organizaciones. El análisis estadístico se realizó
con el lenguaje de programación Python, empleando las bibliotecas Pandas y
Numpy para la manipulación y organización de datos, y Seaborn para la
visualización estadística. Se hizo especial énfasis en fomentar la honestidad y
confidencialidad durante la aplicación de los cuestionarios, con el fin de evitar
sesgos y preservar la objetividad del estudio.

From this population, a sample of 95 participants was selected. The research was conducted in service sector companies located in Barranquilla, Atlántico, between July 2024 and February 2025. Data collection utilized two key instruments: the S20/23 Job Satisfaction Questionnaire by Meliá and Peiró (1998), which assesses factors such as supervision, physical environment, benefits, and intrinsic satisfaction, providing a comprehensive view of workplace well-being; and the Organizational Climate Assessment based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which emphasizes the importance of the work environment and the impact of employees’ perceptions and attitudes on organizational quality and performance. This methodological approach facilitates the identification of areas for improvement and guides strategies to enhance both employee well-being and organizational efficiency. Statistical analysis was performed using the Python programming language, employing the Pandas and NumPy libraries for data manipulation and organization, and Seaborn for statistical visualization. Special emphasis was placed on promoting honesty and confidentiality during questionnaire administration to avoid bias and preserve the objectivity of the study.
