The general objective of this research was to analyze the risk factors of adolescents in relation to the loss of identity due to the consumption of psychoactive substances in the sector of the camellón municipality of Pamplona. For which it was taken into account to work from an interpretative paradigm the development of techniques such as the semi-structured interview, a technique that defines, following García Ferrando, as a technique that uses a set of standardized research procedures through which a series of data from a sample of cases representative of a population or wider universe is collected and analyzed, of which it is intended to explore, describe, predict and / or explain a series of characteristics. Participant observation (Taylor and Bogdan, 1984), allows researchers to ask questions enough to allow people to talk about what they have in mind and what worries them without forcing them to respond to the interests of researchers. It is just as important to know what to ask as what to never ask. When informants begin to speak and feel comfortable, they may be asked about the topics that interest researchers. Using these two methods for the collection of information will allow us to fulfill our general objective which is to analyze the risk factors of adolescents in relation to the loss of identity due to the consumption of psychoactive substances in the sector of the camellón municipality of Pamplona. The underlining technique (Gáslac and Tello, 2019), allows to highlight the ideas that are considered most important about a topic. Coding (Barney G. Glaser 1975) allows to see the direction in which to conduct the study by theoretical sampling, before it becomes selective and focuses on a particular problem. Thus, when you focus attention, you are sure of the relevance. Such coding begins with the fracturing of the data into analytical chunks that can then be elevated to the conceptual level. Among the findings obtained, it is sought to know the causes that lead to the loss of identity due to the consumption of psychoactive substances in adolescents, for this, it is pertinent to highlight that in this stage there are physical and psychological changes that occur at high speed and are a normal part of development, these changes can generate conflicts between parents and children if the natural process suffered by young people is not understood.
