This research focuses on the optimization of inventory management in DCH SAS, a company dedicated to the commercialization and distribution of fast-food supplies. It analyzes how the lack of planning and control in inventory handling has generated excess low-rotation products, losses due to obsolescence, and reduced operational efficiency. The main objective is to identify models and strategies that improve storage processes, reduce unnecessary costs, and ensure customer satisfaction in a highly competitive market. Likewise, the study examines the impact that the implementation of modern methodologies can have on the company’s profitability and sustainability. The research is based on theories and models such as Pareto’s ABC classification, Harris’s EOQ model, and Ohno’s Just-in-Time system, in addition to emerging technologies such as ERP systems, which are essential for optimizing logistics flows and inventory control. Methodologically, the study is applied, with a mixed, descriptive, and non-experimental approach, using surveys applied to six company employees as the main data collection tool. The results reveal the need to structure an inventory management model adapted to the changing demands of the market, supported by predictive analysis tools and collaborative processes with suppliers.
