Family businesses, regardless of the sector in which they are located, all of them have in common: the origin of the conflicts is caused by the meeting of two systems: family and organization. These conflicts can affect an organization in different ways and have an impact on 12 management and governance. We have carefully reviewed the models proposed for this type of organization, from the Taguris three-circle model to the most recent model based on the threedimensional evolutionary approach of Molina, Botero, and Montoya Monsalve, in which conflict and its role in family businesses is conceptualized as the first trigger for problems in family businesses, Through documentary research, the objective is to identify and design a model of agreements for the management of Higher institutions that has family origins and anticipate conflicts, with the commitment of all the members of the Assembly of Founders, the main organ in the strategic decision making of the Management in HEIs that has a family origin
