Resumen
En el presente trabajo se presenta el diseño de una prótesis transfemoral convertible y ajustable, el cual
servirá como referencia para un futuro proyecto de ingeniería, teniendo en cuenta la alta demanda que
existe en la actualidad de personas con discapacidad en sus extremidades inferiores.
Es por eso que el objetivo principal de este proyecto consiste en diseñar una prótesis Transtibial que se
convierta en transfemoral de menor costo para el paciente, que cumpla con los requerimientos del
diseño, y que además sea capaz de simular el movimiento de una persona sana, brindar la comodidad
necesaria para que la persona se sienta a gusto y así mejorar su desempeño en la sociedad. Para lo cual,
el diseño de esta se procedió a realizar un CAD SolidWorks con la finalidad de hacer un estudio de
cargas y con esto garantizar una total resistencia en el diseño.
