In Colombia, flourishing is presented as an essential indicator of mental health, especially relevant for vulnerable youth who face risks such as economic instability, violence and limited access to mental health services. Therefore, this research project focused on analyzing the flourishing factors that promote the personal growth of vulnerable youth aged 20 to 25 years, identifying and characterizing the individual and developmental elements present in their narratives. For this purpose, a hermeneutic and qualitative approach was adopted, which allowed an in-depth interpretation of their experiences, using a phenomenological design and participatory action intervention, where the participants collaborated in data collection. The study showed that the three participants, young people between 20 and 25 years of age, evidenced differentiated factors in their process of personal flourishing and growth. Through semi-structured interviews, common patterns were identified such as the importance of gratitude, resilience, support networks and a clear life purpose, elements that favor their well-being and sense of direction. Each young person, however, faced unique challenges that influenced their emotional and social dimensions, demonstrating that an integral balance between the physical, emotional and social is essential for their full development. In conclusion, this study synthesizes key findings and their practical applicability, providing a solid foundation for future research in the area.
