Domestic violence is that event that evidences abuse by a family member, to detect that there is domestic violence, this must become a repetitive violent attitude. Violence is a problem that affects all societies, regardless of their socioeconomic stratification. When the covid-19 pandemic arrived, there was a great change in the economic sphere, social relations and the daily dynamics of people, since the government decided to implement a period of social confinement as a prevention strategy. For this reason, intra-family violence due to COVID-19 was expected to increase considerably due to preventive confinement, economic stress and the majority of time spent together living together. (Kumar, 2020) points out that the implications for the family world have occupied a secondary place, this despite the fact that measures such as confinement in homes raised alarms regarding the increase in intrafamily violence. The tracking in newspapers, digital platforms, newscasts and scientific production, point to the exacerbation of practices associated with violence that are exacerbated in conditions such as those established by the presence of the pandemic and the mobility restrictions that have resulted from it.
