Conclusion: In this study, adherence to the protocols for patient care with covid19 in the pandemic period of 2021 is observed. It is possible to identify that the health personnel of the institution have knowledge about the guidelines and protocols established by the legal and corresponding entities, However, due to some institutional deficiencies, they are not fully complied with, as in the case of the permanent availability of the use of personal protection elements since some PPE has not been sufficient, this could improve to obtain a satisfactory increase in compliance with adherence to the protocol care for patients with covid19.
