Resumen
La investigación tuvo como propósito central diseñar una propuesta de intervención pedagógica mediante el uso de herramientas educativas, con el fin de mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de básica secundaria y media en la Institución Educativa Colegio Nuestra Señora del Rosario del municipio de Villa Caro, Norte de Santander. Para cumplir este propósito, se adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo, empleando un muestreo no probabilístico que permitió recopilar información relevante a partir de diferentes técnicas ajustadas a cada objetivo. Se llevó a cabo un análisis documental histórico, revisando los resultados de las pruebas Saber 11 de los años 2022, 2023 y 2024. Se aplicó una encuesta mediante cuestionario estructurado a estudiantes y docentes, con el fin de medir sus percepciones respecto al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, así como al rendimiento académico. Finalmente, se realizó un análisis crítico de brechas y oportunidades basado en la información recolectada y en la revisión del PEI, con el propósito de orientar la formulación de una propuesta pedagógica. Los resultados destacaron dificultades persistentes en el rendimiento académico, principalmente vinculadas a debilidades metodológicas y carencias en el uso de recursos pedagógicos innovadores. También se identificaron oportunidades de mejora al incorporar herramientas educativas que favorezcan la motivación y la participación activa. Se concluyó que la implementación de la propuesta fortalecería los procesos pedagógicos institucionales, al tiempo que contribuiría al desarrollo de estrategias educativas más pertinentes e innovadoras para responder a las necesidades actuales de la comunidad estudiantil
The research had as its central purpose to design a pedagogical intervention proposal through the use of educational tools, in order to improve the learning process and the academic performance of secondary and high school students at the Educational Institution Nuestra Señora del Rosario in the municipality of Villa Caro, Norte de Santander. To achieve this purpose, a descriptive quantitative approach was adopted, using a non-probabilistic sampling that allowed the collection of relevant information from different techniques adjusted to each objective. A historical documentary analysis was carried out, reviewing the results of the Saber 11 tests from the years 2022, 2023, and 2024. A survey was applied using a structured questionnaire to students and teachers, in order to measure their perceptions regarding the teaching and learning process, as well as academic performance. Finally, a critical analysis of gaps and opportunities was conducted based on the information collected and on the review of the PEI, with the purpose of guiding the formulation of a pedagogical proposal. The results highlighted persistent difficulties in academic performance, mainly linked to methodological weaknesses and shortcomings in the use of innovative pedagogical resources. Improvement opportunities were also identified by incorporating educational tools that encourage motivation and active participation. It was concluded that the implementation of the proposal would strengthen institutional pedagogical processes, while contributing to the development of more pertinent and innovative educational strategies to respond to the current needs of the student community.
