Resumen
Esta investigación se enfoca en analizar los factores psicológicos relacionados con la depresión y su atribución en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes universitarios de Barranquilla. Para sustentar esta revisión documental, se integraron diversas perspectivas teóricas que abordan la relación entre los factores psicológicos, la depresión y el desempeño académico. El marco metodológico se basa en un enfoque cualitativo y en un tipo de investigación de carácter documental, adoptando un diseño acorde con los objetivos propuestos. El estudio se desarrolló a partir de la revisión de 30 artículos vinculados con las categorías establecidas, siguiendo las fases metodológicas planteadas por Hoyos para su respectivo análisis. Los resultados evidencian que, a pesar de la consideración de múltiples factores, persisten patrones que reflejan la presencia de síntomas depresivos en los estudiantes universitarios, lo que resalta la importancia de seguir profundizando en esta problemática.

To support this documentary review, various theoretical perspectives addressing the relationship between psychological factors, depression, and academic performance were integrated.
