The research project “Portrait of life: traces of war to take steps towards peace” is based on a personal process based on the reconstruction of an autobiographical study. The stories are framed in the life cycle; The starting point being the formation of the family of origin, highlighting childhood with its vulnerabilities, the risk factors crossed by poverty, armed conflict and rural areas of the peripheries. This project is presented as a requirement to qualify for the title of Specialist in Social Intervention Processes, and is subscribed to the Subject and Social Actor research and intervention line. The methodological research design is based on a qualitative approach, framed in an interpretive paradigm and an autobiographical design. The starting point is the reconstruction of the personal experience from the impact of the accident of an antipersonnel mine, in a rural area of the Catatumbo region. Using the biographical method to find the traces of war, to move in peace, allowed me to strengthen self-recognition as a survivor of a landmine attack, see the steps along the path of life, rediscover myself in social science and power. reflect in the company of my tutor who I encouraged to start my stories for this study. It took me to catch up with myself, with my history, showing a path, some footprints and my steps in Peace. It is not a finished project, it is the first steps of sharing and moving forward, there is still a long way to go.
