Resumen
Los esfuerzos para lograr la transformación del sistema educacional colombiano, constituyen un paradigma concretado según las condiciones de cada comunidad. La universidad posee condiciones para crear una red de multiplicadores en la transformación de la comunidad, donde se expresan los intereses y
promueve la participación y búsqueda de nuevos métodos de creación, a partir de sus propios esfuerzos y gestando voluntad de cambio en comunidades con problemáticas ambientales (Ministerio de Educación, 1995).
Para la caracterización del estado actual de la educación ambiental para el desarrollo sostenible en la formación del estudiante de carreras pedagógicas, se utilizó un diagnóstico en la Institución Educativa
Antonia Santos de Malambo. Donde se mediante el estudio empírico: revisión de documentos, permitió constatar que en la formación inicial del profesor en educación ambiental para el desarrollo sostenible, se reflejan potencialidades como: las leyes que lo norman, la inclusión en el currículo, la disposición al cambio de los profesores.
The efforts to achieve the transformation of the Colombian educational system constitute a concrete paradigm according to the conditions of each community. The university has the conditions to create a network of multipliers in the transformation of the community, where the interests and promotes the participation and search for new methods of creation, based on their own efforts and creating a will for change in communities with environmental problems (Ministry of Education, 1995).
