The present research is important because it promotes inclusion and representation, as it helps to identify young people who have been excluded by emotional barriers, to understand emotions and their influence on political stance, designing strategies for them to actively participate. Emotional expressions can generate satisfaction by feeling passionate about their political beliefs, on the contrary, those young people who feel alienated by politics may experience emotions such as apathy, showing disinterest and little satisfaction with the political process. The emotional expression and political stance of young college students revealed important findings on how emotions influence their political opinions and behaviors. The research showed that emotions play a crucial role in shaping political stances, with feelings such as hope, indignation, and frustration being especially salient.
