The research explores the impact of mental health on Colombian organizations from a social and economic perspective. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines mental health as a state of well-being essential for human development. Previous studies in Colombia and Latin America highlight that stress, anxiety, and depression negatively affect productivity and organizational climate, generating significant economic and social costs. Research has shown that the COVID-19 pandemic worsened mental health issues in the workplace, increasing workers' emotional burden and disrupting labor dynamics. Factors such as remote work, economic uncertainty, and lack of support strategies have intensified stress and anxiety levels among employees. In response, some studies suggest that organizations implementing well-being strategies, such as psychological support programs and flexible work models, have improved employee satisfaction and performance. However, challenges in managing mental well-being within companies persist. This study aims to analyze these background findings and propose strategies to improve mental health management in Colombian organizations, fostering a healthier and more sustainable work environment. The main objective of this research is to analyze the impact of mental health on organizations in Colombia from both social and economic perspectives. This is further broken down into three specific objectives, each closely linked to the main goal.
