Resumen
El presente estudio de caso, describe el funcionamiento neuropsicológico en un niño con antecedentes de hipoxia perinatal. Cuyo objetivo es describir el funcionamiento de sus procesos atencionales, memoria, lenguaje, función ejecutiva, área social y área emocional. El cual se realizó, con un paciente de 7 años de edad, que presento hipoxia perinatal al nacer, y que según criterios “Test Apgar” obtuvo un concepto “Normal” (recién nacido en buenas condiciones), para participar de este estudio inicialmente se efectuó una historia clínica del neurodesarrollo desde antes de nacer hasta la fecha, aunado al proceso de evaluación psicopatológica y una evaluación neuropsicológica ENI-2, (Escala de aptitud y psicomotricidad para niños entre 2 años y 6 meses hasta los 8 años y 6 meses), cuestionario de Conducta de CONNERS, para padres y profesores y la Escala de Inteligencia de Wechsler para Niños - Cuarta Edición (WISC-IV) , La evaluación neuropsicológica revelo dificultades significativas a nivel atencional, lenguaje y conducta.
This case study describes the neuropsychological functioning in a child with a history of perinatal hypoxia. Whose objective is to describe the functioning of their attentional processes, memory, language, executive function, social area and emotional area. Which was carried out with a 7-year-old patient, who presented perinatal hypoxia at birth, and who according to the "Apgar Test" criteria obtained a "Normal" concept (newborn in good condition), to participate in this study initially made a clinical history of neurodevelopment from before birth to date, coupled with a psychopathological evaluation process and an ENI-2 neuropsychological evaluation, (Aptitude and psychomotor scale for children between 2 years and 6 months to 8 years and 6 months) , CONNERS Behavior questionnaire, for parents and teachers and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fourth Edition (WISC-IV) , The neuropsychological evaluation revealed significant difficulties at the attentional level, language and behavior.
