Resumen
Entre diversas circunstancias el mundo cambió desde marzo de 2020, y hasta la fecha de hoy el cambio sigue presente para todos. Empezó una pandemia mundial debido al surgimiento y viralización de la enfermedad por coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) y con ella aparecieron problemas, específicamente en las instituciones educativas de todo el planeta. En este proyecto de investigación proponemos identificar, conocer y demostrar cómo ha sido el impacto en el entorno educativo, comparando el antes y el después. El trabajo abre un espacio al análisis de los resultados obtenidos a través del diagnóstico de impactos positivos y negativos, para poder determinar criterios de priorización que permitan seleccionar los más significativos, de manera tal que nos ayuden a aprovechar oportunidades y minimizar riesgos en la nueva normalidad. Diferentes instituciones educativas a nivel mundial reconocen que el reto ha afectado tanto a estudiantes como a profesores, y que después de 18 meses se está gestando un nuevo nivel de manejo tanto de la tecnología como de las relaciones e interacciones en este modelo pedagógico mediado por la tecnología. En este contexto, la investigación que se propone hace énfasis en evaluar el impacto de la pandemia de COVID-19 en la educación superior, para identificar lecciones aprendidas y proponer su incorporación a la universidad desde ahora y con proyección a la nueva normalidad.
Among various circumstances, the world has changed since March 2020 and to this day the change is still present for everyone. A global pandemic started due to COVID-19, the disease caused by a new coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2 and with it some problems appeared, specifically in educational institutions around the world. We propose to identify, know and demonstrate how the impact on the educational environment has been, comparing its before and after on this research project. The work opens a space for the analysis of the results obtained through the diagnosis of positive and negative impacts in order to determine a prioritization criteria that allow us to select the most significant ones in order to help us to seize opportunities and minimize risks in the new normal. Different educational institutions worldwide recognize that the challenge has affected both students and teachers, and after 18 months a new level of management of both technology and relationships and interactions is being developed in this pedagogical model mediated by technology. In this context, the proposed research emphasizes evaluating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in higher education to identify lessons learned and propose its incorporation to the university from now with projection to the new normal.
