Resumen
Introducción: La enfermedad renal crónica (ERC) se define como un conjunto de enfermedades heterogéneas que afectan la estructura y función renal. Esta revisión se realiza con el fin de identificar y recopilar información de los marcadores inflamatorios que se utilizan para el seguimiento, mortalidad, pronóstico de pacientes con ERC, incluso los que se usan para predecir dicha patología renal. Objetivos: Recopilar datos sobre los marcadores inflamatorios inmunológicos asociados con la ERC mediante la revisión de artículos de investigación para determinar si existen predictores inmunológicos específicos de dicha patología crónica. Métodos: Se realizó una revisión estructurada en la base de datos
Medline/ PubMed, usando los términos: Renal Insuficiency, Chronic OR Acute-Phase Proteins OR Monitoring, Immunologic. Los artículos publicados entre 31/12/ 2009 y 31/12/2018, en ingles con acceso al texto completo. Resultados: se encontraron en total con los términos MeSH, 2.850 artículos, de los cuales se excluyeron 1930 por no presentar una relación de utilidad clara entre de los marcadores inmunológicos y la ERC, y otros 895 por su principal enfoque en otras patologías a nivel renal como la insuficiencia renal aguda. Por lo tanto, para este trabajo se seleccionaron y revisaron 25 referencias con estudios entre el año 2003 al 2019.
Introduction: Chronic Kidney disease (CKD) is defined as a set of heterogeneous diseases that affect renal sfructure and frnction. This review is conducted to identify and collect information from inflammatory markers that are used for the follow-up, mortality, prognosis of patients with CKD, including those used to predict such renal pathology Objective: To collect data on immunological inflammatory markers associated with the CKD by revising research articles to determine whether there are specific immunologic predictors of such chronic pathology. Materials and methods: A structured review was conducted in the Medline/PubMed database, using the terms: Renal Insuficiency, Chronic OR Acute-Phase proteins OR Monitoring, Immunologic. The articles published between 31/12/2003 and 31/12/2019, in English with access to the full text. Results: were found in total with the MeSH terms, 2,850 articles, of which 1930 were excluded because they did not present a clear useful relationship between the immunological markers and the CKD, and another 895 for their main focus on Other pathologies at the renal level such as acute renal failure. Therefore, for this work, 25 references with studies between 2003 and 2019 were selected and reviewed.
